Apparently the chickens are not satisfied with the oatmeal, pellets, and a two gallon bucket of compost that they get every day. 
We were afraid they might get stuck, but they didn't, and they even took turns. Maybe they think dog food produces really good eggs.

What did the dogs think about that?
The dogs didn't care. The other day we gave Sasha a ham bone outside, and she let the chickens eat it while she sat by the door, waiting to be let in. If the doge can't do it inside, they don't care to do it.
