Happy Birthday, Sarah!

Happy fifth birthday, Sarah. We have already seen you grow a lot, and pray that you will begin to grow in the Lord soon. We love you.

Our Baby Girl

Here are Audra's pictures for this year. Sadly, probably our last "baby" pictures in this family, but there is always the next generation. "Aren't I cute?"

Her little hands are already busy much of the time in tidying the home. May she have diligent, generous hands as in Proverbs 31.
"Oh, I see!"

Family Time

Earlier this month Daddy and Mommy surprised us with a visit from our uncle, aunt, and cousin from Colorado. Our relatives were in the state for a family wedding, and decided to drive five hours to visit us on a Wednesday. Daddy and Mommy were the only ones who knew they were coming until a couple of hours before they arrived. It was so much fun to see them again! Getting to know the cousins again.
Jordan and Justin enjoying some guy time.

Aunt Joelle is in the middle of the picture.

Even though they only got to stay for a few hours, we really enjoyed the visit, and hope we can see them again soon!

Two by Two

More family pictures. Unfortunately, Jordan and Chris's pictures did not turn out, but the rest of them did.World's best looking couple (but I am a little prejudiced:)

Audra was done taking pictures by this point, so we never got a smile when she was with Nicole.

Two Birthdays!

A few days ago we celebrated Erin's first birthday with us. She is now four, and very excited to be as old as Sarah (for a month at least). It is very neat to share a birthday with her, and we had a great time being birthday girls together. When we went out with Grandpa and Grandma for lunch, Erin said several times "Now I four!" Then she would look at me and ask how old I was. I would say twenty and held up my fingers twice, and she would look at her fingers and marvel at how old I was. It is great to have the little ones' perspectives!
