Here is a picture, finally, of the dresses that we made. Jordan is not wearing the shirt that we made him in this picture, but on the way to the first party that we wore these clothes to, he had to help move a horse off of the road. So, he decided to wear every-day clothes to the second party.
The dresses were quite a challenge to make. For my dress we made a complete dress for practice, along with two bodices, before ending up with what we wanted. Nicole's wasn't so bad, only needing one practice bodice before the dress. Kayla did not get to wear her dress to the party, because there was something wrong with it, but she will be able to fix it and wear it to the English dances that we go to.
We girls want to thank Grandma Hurst, Grandma Ruth, and Mommy for their tremendous help in our sewing projects over the years. None of our dresses would have gotten done without you.
